Required confirmations

1. Which regulatory body are you currently registered with?

Applicants must be registered with the appropriate UK regulatory body and currently working in the UK.

2. Which statement best matches your current experience?

Applicants need the required post-registration clinical experience for their profession and intended field. Aesthetic applications are currently on hold and are not being accepted.

3. Which option describes your DBS status?

Applicants must hold a current enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last three years.

An enhanced DBS issued within the last three years is required to proceed.

4. Confirm your supervision arrangements.

Applicants must have a nominated DPP, Practice Assessor or Practice Educator with at least three years of prescribing experience. NMC registrants also need a Practice Supervisor who works within the current scope of practice in which they intend to prescribe.

You must have the right supervision arrangements in place before you apply.

5. Confirm your practice support and availability.

Applicants must have support from the Prescribing Governance or NMP lead in current clinical practice and proposed learning environment if different, and must be able to meet 26 days of taught theory and 90 hours of supervised clinical practice.

Both governance support and attendance capacity need to be confirmed.
